I'm in charge of the dishwasher (one of my very few domestic tasks). Occasionally there are complaints about *dried on* food particles. Getting a full load, crocks and cutlery only, can take 3 days and I don't use the pre-rinse function. Occasionally the first load goes in while the machine is still hot from the previous drying cycle. In my view, the particles are too small to be the remnants of dried on food but perhaps emanate from waste particles gathered by the water filter. Investigation ongoing:-)
