Folding toilet handrails

Can anyone recommend a sturdy but not excessively expensive folding toilet handrail as used to self assist the elderly/disabled off a toilet?

This sort of thing:

am sort of cheating as I intent to use it to provide lateral 'stop a wobble' support in a shower over bath situation on the shower curtain side. The idea is that an elderly person could put a hand out if needs be and find a rail to steady themselves rather than find a curtain to fall through dramatically. I realise this is a non standard use (lateral rather than vertical forces) which is why I am looking for models that have a wide and robust looking pivot like the example above.

In contrast I doubt this lightweight model with a narrow pivot would be suitable:

unlocking and transition from the upright position would be an advantage. The mounting wall is plenty beefy enough for the job.

This looks top but is more than we want to spend:

Our local authority Adult Social Services department provide "small pieces of equipment, such as toilet seat raisers, grab rails, perching stools, etc" free of charge. We've been through this process twice now, and a folding grab rail as you describe was one of the items provided. They were quite happy for me to install them, and delivered them very quickly.

They may also offer a referral to an Occupational Therapist, who may offer more suggestions on equipment and minor alterations.

Worth asking?

Some of these "mobility aid" shops do seem to specialise in ripping off the old and the vulnerable. Check ebay?
