Flow switch/stuart turner pump

Thanks to all who responded to my request for flow switches; I've followed up and got a couple of goos probables, Novomec EFS, and Gentech FS 01... etc

other query is, how about a Stuart Turner.

When I started this 18 months ago S/T were miles dearer than Grundfos, but now Grundfos are about 90 quid, and make the Stuart Turner look a bit more affordable.

But are they worth it? According to their website (very sparse) they do provide spares, so that's a plus.

If the monsoon single, or even the showermate single, is quiet and reliable, it could be worth investing in.

Any comments?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember mike saying something like:

I've used the Gentech. It's a well-made metal-bodied design that lasts well. Not cheap, though, but you get what you pay for with this.

Their FS in brass looks remarkably like the one DPS use (except that DPS' has push-fit connectors - presumably a variation avalable to special order.)

Thanks for the comments; as usual, I may have been a bit tired and emotional. ;) What I really meant to ask was about chucking the whole lot and blowing 180 quid on a monsoon single, or 130 on a showermate.

Has anyone any knowledge of thes, please?

No. standard. Look at FS 13. The FS13 is the DPS flow Switch. The FS is a very good switch.

~£30 on a flow switch is better.

I guess you're right DD, I was a bit tempted by the higher pressure of the monsoon, but I'm kinda short of space unless I put it in the loft, and then I'd only have about 4 feet of head; I'm not sure if that would be enough.
