Float valves.

Hi,



Does anybody know the difference between a part1 and part 2 float valve. You can buy both types and our header tank needs a new one.

part 2 is what is required ,part one is for wc cisterns and small header tanks normally

Is it possible to use a quiet type Torbeck valve instead of a brass bodied affair for a main header tank or is it not acceptable?
