I'm in the process of purchasing a EFEL (Euroheat) Harmony 5 Balanced Flue gas stove, and was wondering if I there was any reason why i shouldn't attempt to fit it myself.
I have a varied history of diy skills, including wet plumbing experince, fitting new radiators, plumbing in a new toilet, etc. I also removed the old gas fire.
The way I see it, it's just knock a hole in the outside wall (as per spec/instructions), cut and fit flue/pipe(as per instructions), make good the hole, then connect gas stove to gas supply, check for leaks. Then boom!
Or should I just pay a corgi registered blokey about £250 to do it?
TIA
Jon
