I bought a gadget to use the microwave to poach eggs.
Followed the instructions carefully, they said I might have to adjust the time.
Checked after one minute, not cooked, put it on for another minute, few seconds later minor exggsplosions as the eggs blew up all over the microwave.
Is this SOP or has anybody found one that works?
Did you prick the yolk?
No not in the instructions. Sounds as if I should have?
The usual advice is to always prick the yolk when microwaving an egg. Am very surprised if the instructions didn't mention this. On the other hand, if the gadget came from China then it might not be so unexpected.
Well that is the usual Standard operating procedure to fertilise an egg....... :-D
