Has anyone used one of those £20 or so drain camera jobs I've seen on eBay? Any use?
Think we need our main drain checked.
Alternatively any recommendations for a firm that operates in N/E London.

If you want a *good* picture marked with a distance on the video, it's worth having a pro job done.
I have. Also I've used a cheap USB waterproof cam on a 5m cable from ebay to survey gutter drains. The difference in quality was enormous.
Not to mention, it is really hard keep the camera pointing the right way and the lens clean!
That might not be your responsibility.
Worth checking as it may be cleared for free - there should be information on your water bill relating to this, I think.
