Look up mobile mop up on the web, they claim to be able to clear any left over data and recycle what can be recycled. Obviously remove the sim first though. Brian

No, the deal was that they had to do it at the Guardian offices so that the journalists could witness it too; otherwise the security people would have used it to back-track to the sources.
