This is advertised as being suitable for outdoor / under water use. Just looks like a Henley Block to me and would be lethal under water !
Horrifying what people do sometimes !

Indeed. That's terrible.
"A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear" apart from the screw heads, some of which are decidedly chewed. No rubber seal around the closing edge, no grommets in the cable holes. About as waterproof as a colander and nearly fifty years old. What could go wrong?
Report it to eBay and they'll remove it. I have done this with some bench PSUs based on PC PSUs modified by what was probably an enthusiastic kid. He didn't deserve to be sued should anything go wrong.
Cheers
but, it is being sold by someone from Wales ;-)
I sent the seller a message to query if those were the right photos...
Maybe its OK underwater if used with their other product, the waterproof box? No I have no idea if they have one but it would not surprise me at all. Brian
Distilled water maybe? Brian
Seems you forced him to be LESS economical with the truth he revised the listing at ten to Nine it now 'says' nothing about being suitable for underwater or outdoor use. Still 'says' it's unused though, despite all the (rather obvious) wear and tear .
Is a Henley Block used with Henle's loop?
I got a reply from the seller saying: "Thanks for your advice, we have changed the description"
It's used to connect the new kidney when you have a transplant!
