Made me cringe seeing his fingers so close to the jet.
OK, it's only 3000 psi or so, which is fairly low pressure for a water jet cutter. But still, you can get nasty injuries from hydraulic fluid at those pressures.
He's normally a sensible chap, but it wouldn't have taken much of a slip to lose a finger ...
Its an abrasive stream so it will do a lot more damage than plain water.
