Following my previous "Electrics for Shed" post, I am looking for inspiration on a suitable enclosure (if such a thing exists).
I intend to treat the shed as an extension, rather than hard wiring the connection. I have purchased Tuff cable and conduit ready for burial between the kitchen wall and shed.
At the house end, my intention is to run the conduit into an enclosure alongside the existing outside socket on the kitchen wall.
The idea would be for this enclosure to enable anchoring and connection of the Tuff cable to a flex and plug (with flex and plug generally stored inside the enclosure).
When needed, the enclosure would be opened to allow the flex and plug to be connected to the existing outdoor socket, the enclosure lid being rather like the hinged lid on the external socket I am thinking.
Yes I know this is a lot of hassle vs direct connection, but I like the idea of retaining physical separation/isolation of the shed electrics.
