heating oil (kerosene) is about 70p a litre, and is pretty much the same stuff, less the punitive taxes...
It's 70p/litre in a 500 litre tanker delivery, if you buy it in containers it's more expensive, eg:

It seems they also sell paraffin for a bit more, which apparently has no toxic fumes so better for indoor use eg in lamps:
