I've pondered that many times. "I could do this job easily, if only I could get up and stand on this dining chair." I think it comes under the same heading as "I always take this bend at 50 mph." Hopefully, I will continue to resist the temptation - but as I get more ga-ga ................?

P.S. I've got a new router to fit this Thursday - the router is quite high up and the socket is quite low down. Hmmmm..........

Jumping down I managed to take a 4cmx 4cm piece of skin from my shin. I have poor circulation and it takes a long time to heal. Two weeks putting on a iodine gauze* and a taped on cushion type pad** and add another three weeks and the damage is almost healed.

I was just thinking that at my age when my sight is gone, maybe its time for a bucket list of things to do before I become so old its all too late. Balloon trips are out that's certain.

As a hobby beekeeper I hear many stories about the use of honey as a healing aid. There's a honey only sourced from New Zealand called Manuka honey. It's claimed to be the dogs bollocks for wound healing and sells all over the world for vastly inflated prices. Statistics are often quoted about annual worldwide sales far exceeding the total production from both islands of NZ. I couldn't possibly comment.
