BBC TV: The Big Life Fix with Simon Reeve

The team of inventors are challenged to come up with solutions for three ve ry different problems.

They attempt to help a terminally ill photographer who can no longer use hi s hands to operate a camera. They try to bring cutting-edge communication t o a remote Welsh village which has no internet access and an unreliable tel ephone connection. And they work to give some control back to a young desig ner who has Parkinson's disease and who has been unable to use a pen since developing tremors in her hands two years ago.

From a man with locked-in syndrome who wants to communicate with his family , to an 11-year-old boy born without hands and feet who is desperate to rid e a bike, the series offers extraordinary insight into the lives of those w hose dreams seem to be beyond grasp and who need the help of experts.
