I need a battery. 7.2V 13Ah li-ion. 113x66x37mm. It's for a Promax analyser. This is the only one I can find, but the price is ridiculous. Any suggestions as to where I can buy this battery or its equivalent at a sensible price, please?

Simply searching for Promax Analyser battery came up with this:-

or this, which looks a bit more professional:-

That looks like a 2p6s pack (take 6x 18650 cells and put them in parallel, then join two of those parallel blocks in series). eg:

That includes the BMS, which is why it's a bit bulkier.

Since you only need 13Ah you could go to 2p5s, which are more commonly available:

That's without BMS, hence the balance wires. You'd need a charger to take the balance wires and/or some other way of battery protection (eg fittng your own BMS board, also available on Aliexpress/ebay)

What's the maximum current drain? 6p should be good for 30-180A, depending on the type of cells.

Or just buy some 18650 cells and recell it yourself?

at least you know what went into it, unlike the Aliexpress-specials.

They are much smaller batteries. I suppose they might do the job, but with very short run time. Bill
