Win/win?
Previous queries about a 12V fluorescent and a dead LED inspection light may have melded in some weird way.
If I take the LED inspection light thingie apart, the LED cluster looks about the right size to fit in the light fitting for the camper.
Has anyone deconstructed an LED inspection light?

Watch out for potential conflict in the different design aims of the two different applications, one intended for intermittent use on short hours and another for continuous use on long hours. Compromises in the first design application may affect longevity or efficiency in the latter.
If it's cheap however, give it a punt.
