I noticed someone using a tin of alcohol based primer the other day (Homebase own brand IIRC). From the quick glance I saw it seemed to go on not unlike an oil based primer, but with far less smell (i.e. not much more than an acrylic).
Anyone used this stuff? is it any good? pros/cons etc?
