AC

I disagree. A car lets you open 4 large windows (in comparison to the size of the car). The inside can rapidly be cooled (even when stationary) to outside temperature. You can't do that with a house.

He isnt.

He is.

Not very often in Britain.

I put my own, whole house, aircon in, about thirty years ago, it is a boon that I would put in immediately If I were to move house. It enables comfortable sleep on the hottest evening, and just for that alone is worth having. My system came to me secondhand virtually free, running costs are around two to five pounds a day (depending on ambient) when it is on 24/7. it also functions as a cheap high power heater.

So why is crossposting a problem for him?

For 3 months last summer I wanted my house cooler. I don't like it over 20C, especially when trying to sleep.

I'm considering one, but have seen nothing less than =A3400. Where do y= ou get cheap ones?

A man spoke frantically into the phone, "My wife is pregnant and her con= tractions are only two minutes apart!" "Is this her first child?" the doctor asked. "No, you idiot!" the man shouted. "This is her husband!"

It's quite good for quick demisting.

Agreed, I leave mine on all the time. Handy to demist in warm damp weather without melting me with the heater.

Because that particular mainstream newsreader is a steaming turd by design.

But you are silly enough to run around naked in the snow in winter.

There arent enough that silly to warrant having AC in every house.

Why not name it?

Almost everyone I know doesn't like overly hot houses. Feeling the cold doesn't stop them feeling the heat.

Its clearly visible in his headers. X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.3790.1830

Not to that question of what temperatures you prefer it isnt.

Most don't feel that their house in Britain was overly hot for 3 months last summer.

I couldn't be bothered going to find one of his posts, and couldn't remember his posting name!

I find it hard to believe outlook express doesn't like crossposting. I know it's s*it compared to others, but I know plenty people who use it, and they don't seem to have this problem.

I have no objection to cold but for hot I'm the same as everyone else. Sweating is not comfortable.

Yes they do.

Why don't you ask yourself why that matters ? and then what yuo do if yuo feel uncomfortable and then why you do it. Humans are one fo the few animals that can sweat so why do you think humans have this uncomfortable disability ? Does sweeting make you fitter for survival ?

It smells and makes your muscles less active.

To rot your teeth.

Why do yuo want your teeth to rot ?

Mr Yuo doesn't, I just asked him.

Car aircon dries the air being fed into the passenger compartment. This helps to prevent misted-up windows.

Not why I have AC in my car. Ok, it might help with drying the windows, but the heater suffices for that. I have AC to make me cooler on a hot day.
