Home Alarm System. Occasionally alarm sound " chime - low battery "

Occasionally home alarm will sound with display " chime - low battery ". If any button is pressed at the display panel, the alarm sound will stop. Sensors are wireless. Main panel has 12V dry cell acid battery. The alarm will sound only at the display and control panel at low tone. Does it mean battery replacement? There is only one battery at the base control board and it is sealed acid battery 12V. Also is this battery chargeable?

No recharging anymore, it's probably hit the end of its recharging cycles and needs full replacement. In turn and maybe the real culprit is a or all of the remote sensors' batteries, as the system may be registering a low-battery at one or more of those instead.
