Ratchet socket wrench question

At the time I knew a small machine shop I could sort of use, even though I had no right to. I was sort of scared everytime I went there, but this time the manager of the shop took the part from me and cut it himself. I only went there about once a year.

Thermador Microwave Repair - Cannot find parts...

Every time I walk into my local shop (and it IS a hole in the wall type shop) the guy hears half my description of the problem then walks off and comes back with the right part every time. Truly Amazing, this is a case where the Internet does not have an advantage over a real ...

Hornets have a good work ethic

I've heard of using a shop vac (prop the hose end near the nest) and leave it going for a couple hours. Suck em all in. Though, I'm not sure what I'd do with a shop vac full of hornets. Maybe a double wrap of industrial garbage bag, and couple of layers of duct tape.

What would you do with this shower?

Perhaps you get a terrazzo shower pan, then use tempered glass for the walls and ceiling having the glass shop drill holes for the plumbing and a steam vent. The light can be above the ceiling and shine in through the top.

Steel vs. Wood vs. Fiberglas Exterior Doors

I've got one steel door into my basement shop and I've never had a problem with "warping". It gets zero-ish where I live, shop is in the high 60's and the door always works fine.

Face Shield on Amazon on sale

I have two peg boards, each side the shop. I'm so lazy, these days, I dislike walking across the shop to fetch something from the farther peg board.

Cedar slab cost?

Don't know where you are located but I saw a shop in NC, I think Waynesville, that had a number of finished slabs for sale. They were beautifully finished. Big and small. Some were made into tables and some were wall pieces.

Suggestions for cuting board finish?

High shop class. To this day my wife uses it every day and it is still just fine Heh. Gotcha beat. Still got a solid cherry bookcase I had to design, draft a plan of, then build, in shop, era '55-56. JOAT "I'm an Igor, thur. We don't athk quethtionth." "Really? Why not?"

Replacing missing capacitor?

I bought a Delta grinder that needs a new capacitor, but I don't have the original one to take into my local motor shop to replace.I don't want to order one off the internet from a parts shop there because it'll cost me 3x as much, and I'll have to wait weeks to get it.
