Having to turn on the heater to take the chill out of the shop because of that low 40's temperature.
I do plumbing, so I have lots of spare 1/2" PVC pipe and fittings laying around the shop.
I gave one away to get it out of my shop. Read the article in the current Fine Woodworking mag. :-)

Find a local independant hire shop, they are great for cheap repairs to branded power tools, most have Bosch/Makita spares in stock because they hire them out.
It's just that I seem to shop there a lot and remembered the Man at C&A ads from the 70s/80s. MBQ
Fine, apart from the point that the air con industry seems to be even more of a closed shop than CORGI... and don't forget the government CFC police.
It looks like a cheap shop gimmick for £50. £45 or £55 looks better IMV.
Been very quiet in the shop the last few days and there isn't anywhere near the usual road or pedestrian traffic outside. Must be a moon phase thing. :¬)
