Apple ID is a totally different thing all together. I notice the problems I've been having with Apple pay after changing a debit card have been fixed in the latest IOS. I keep forgetting the Apple ID, or finding a file with the old one in it.

Well I only know about Apple pay, but the point is without your access details you cannot see the debit or credit card vital bits like the code from the reverse side etc.
