QUEEN COX dwarf apple - limbs dieing

I have a 3 yr old dwarf apple from Raintree Nursery growing in Zone 7 (Atlanta). The tree has branched out nicely and is producing apples this year. I have been undergoing CHEMO since Jan-05 and have been unable to take care of my fruit trees.

can i revive my apple tree?

About a decade ago we "cut down" our apple tree. Took it dow except the trunk. The truck is easily rockable. It moves freely. However...about 6yrs ago it began to develop new branches and has grown a new section even though the trunk is so easily movable.

Apple scab -- still good for juice?

By chance, would anyone know if Jonathan apples that have scab (untreated trees) would still make good juice? I've been told to "press away" -- but just want to confirm. Certainly, a perfectionist may not want to use them but does it still make a pretty good juice? (After filtering etc). Thanks.

How to keep dogs off my container plants??

if this doesnt work then put a bit of bitter apple in a sprayer, or, get the bitter apple spray and hit them with that. soon they form a negative link with approaching the pots. dont put fertilizer on top of the dirt. also mulch the pots and spray with bitter apple.

We pay for that convenience and we pay more for performance. Translation: If you want cleaner dishes, pay more money or work harder.

Harvesting backyard trees for woodworking

I have a mature apple tree in the backyard that have to be removed for a pool installation. I hate to see the wood wasted. I'm wondering how practical it is to harvest this wood for use in a future furniture or turning project? Any advice on storing and curing the wood?
