Preventing Unwanted Fruit on Apple Tree

I have a large apple tree which dumps hundreds of pounds of mostly unwanted apples on our property every year. I'd like to spray the tree with Florel Fruit Eliminator this year to eliminate most of the fruit.

Reviving a neglected apple tree

The apple trees are first on my list. One is a bit over 20 foot high. I don't think they've been pruned for decades. How should I start with these trees? Can someone point me to a source online that would help me with pruning them?

ID the crab apple - pic

It appeared to be growing in a semi-wild state (ravine in Toronto) but could be an escaped garden crab apple. The bright red clusters stood out so strongly against the otherwise barren limbs of the surrounding growth. Plus I didn't expect to see so many apples still hanging on at this late ...

to help make Billy's day

The only way to get a Rome apple tree is to use a shoot off of an existing Rome apple tree. As long as some variety of apple remains in patent the initial grower gets to benefit from being the sole source.

Arborvitae keep dying

We took out the Red Cedars about four years ago when they gave us problems with Apple Cedar Rust on our apple trees, but the cedars were always healthy looking, aside from the rust. It's a real puzzle why these trees keep dying.

Dwarf apple lean -- correction possible?

We have a dwarf Mutsu apple (great flavor) which developed a severe "lean" after a fall rain. The tree was heavily weighted on one side with a lot of fruit. After more rain the lowest branch is nearly touching the ground.
