Insulation will stop the sweating. The sweat is condensation, warm air hitting a cold surface...a frying pan lid. Insulation makes the "hitting" happen in super-duper-slow-motion so the air cools or warms to the metals temperature before it hits for no more sweating. A minimum of 4-inches or 2 to 3-layers of Styrofoam or any other rigid foam panel or board will do the trick and keep the heat in the porch a lot longer.
