It is possible to connect a plastic acidic acid waste pipe from a boiler to a cast iron stack pipe on a house, but it depends on the specific type of pipe and fittings being used. Some plastic acidic acid waste pipes are not compatible with cast iron pipes, so it's important to ensure that the plastic pipe and fittings being used are specifically designed for use with cast iron pipes. It's also important to consider the condition of the cast iron pipe, if the pipe is corroded, old or leaking, it may not be suitable to use with a new acidic acid waste pipe, as it may not be able to withstand the pressure or the chemical reaction of the acidic acid waste pipe. It's always best to consult with a professional plumber or HVAC technician to determine the best course of action for your specific situation. They will be able to advise you on the type of pipe and fittings that can be used and will ensure that the installation is done correctly and safely. They will also be able to check if the law in your area allow this type of installation and if it's up to code. It's also important to keep in mind that installing a new waste pipe may require a permit and inspection by the local building department, which only a professional can secure, so they will know if it is legal or not and will follow the regulations in your area.

There are several types of plastic pipes that can be used to connect a boiler to a cast iron stack pipe. The most commonly used types of plastic pipe for this application are PVC and ABS. Both PVC and ABS are durable, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for use with acidic waste water.

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a type of plastic pipe that is commonly used for drainage and vent applications. It is strong, lightweight, and easy to install. PVC is also resistant to corrosion and chemicals, making it suitable for use with acidic waste water.

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is another type of plastic pipe that is commonly used for drainage and vent applications. It is also strong, lightweight and easy to install. ABS is also resistant to corrosion and chemicals, making it suitable for use with acidic waste water.

It's always best to consult with a professional plumber or HVAC technician, who can advise you on the best type of plastic pipe to use for your specific application, based on the local codes and regulations, the type of boiler and the condition of the cast iron stack pipe. They will also be able to ensure that the installation is done correctly and safely, and will secure the necessary permits and inspections.
