Wedding Rings for Electricians

Is it true that electricians give their brides those one of those screw on rings that attach a cable or conduit connector into a metallic electrical box knockout? After all, your bride is marrying an electrician, so why not have her promote your business. And since these come in a variety of sizes, there should be one to fit every woman. The 1/2 inch size will fit the average woman, the 3/4 size fits the larger woman. The 1 inch size fits the very large woman. If you need anything larger than that, you are marrying an elephant (and this does not mean they necessarily vote republican).

Better yet, they come in a variety of shapes. Some have 8 teeth, other have 6, and some of the old ones from the BX days have a square shape (for the "square woman"), and have 4 rather decorative knotches. And there are more. Just look in the bottom of your electricians toolbox and you'll find one that will perfectly match your bride. If you're wiring business has been really lucrative, you might even take the ring to a plating company and have it chromed or gold plated.

If you're living from paycheck to paycheck, you can always buy a can of gold spray paint at Walmart for a buck.

Your bride will always remember she married an electrician and you will make her very happy.

So are you saying electricians aren't smart enough to stay single? Lou

I thought this would be about the shock burn hazard of wearing a metal conductive ring

I repair office machines with moving parts and high voltages, DONT wear a wedding ring for this reason......
