Then we are all primates. The whole damned Iraq/Afghanistan war was about revenge and not even the revenge they sold it was. The country was built on revenge, usually misplaced.

Yes, the government does. We started out in Korea around 1950, got tied up in Vietnam in the 60's. Then we started in the sand box and still in it.

At least in WW 1 and 2 there was a clear objective and it only lasted about 5 years each for the US.

Except of course that Trump's reaction goes on for months, years, after the alleged "punch", which in most cases was a mere slight. He;s still after those on his enemies list. That's not just some sudden reaction that he couldn't control and none of it is natural.
