Sorry, I didn't notice the switch, My search query was Great Britain vs Texas in land area" and Google was not my friend.

The longest gas free stretch on an interstate that I know of is from Salina Ut to Green River WY.

There are rest areas but bring your own water. I crossed there one time with the radio fruitlessly scanning when I suddenly picked up a FM station from Michigan iirc.

One of those little RF oddities. It lasted 10 minutes or so then I was back to radio silence.

Did you want to do the math in metric or English?

FromTheRafters is a New Math scholar. Actually you can find a good deal of erroneous data if you care to.

Great Britain is not the UK. It does not include the other islands. It does not include Bretagne. They lost that long ago.

Hint: Great Britain is included in the United kingdom.

No radio ! ... you can't be sirius .. John T.

Never had that. A thumb drive with a few gigs of music I really like is more my speed.

As an American, I had trouble foreseeing the vastness of Texas. I drove from Oklahoma to Texas one day, and the next day I drove all day at about 60mph and i was still in Texas.

My brother moved to Dallas and wanted me to move their too (as I had moved to Brooklyn when he lived there.) But it was all flat with nothing. Even the 'hill country' seemed boring. I don't know why the people on Rawhide had so much trouble finding the road to Kansas.

That's true on all the Mint plans except the "unlimited" plan, which is really a 35GB plan. With that plan there is a hard cap of 5GB of hotspot per month. Exceed it and it cuts off. With all their other plans, you can use up to your full data amount and then it just slows down.

Bod posted some rates for the UK. From a quick look, it looked like hotspot is included in all those plans and I didn't see any limits. That's a big difference. Here you could be paying one of the major carriers $80 a month and I think most still charge extra for enabling hotspot, limit it's use, etc.

Amazing, micky and I agree. At one time I had a brain spasm about moving to Texas, probably an overdose of Willie and Waylon. I arranged an interview with Mostek in Arlington which was a going firm at the time. On final approach to DFW I looked out the window and said "This ain't going to work."

I never saw too many episodes of Dallas but one I did see was about an attempt to save an old oak tree. I suddenly understood it might have been the only damn tree in Dallas. Billy Bob's was interesting though.
