New mobile phone contract

Hmm. 5G coverage where I am likely to use a mobile is not good so the answer is Vodafone. Will they notice I was a long term customer until the move to O2?

Or will O2 make an offer if I contact them?

Also look at giffgaff PAYG with a goodie bag added on - no contract unlimited voice and sms + 1GB for £6 per rolling month. 2GB if you agree to a rolling 30 day contract. They now also do WiFi calling and 5G.

Actually, having now examined my O2 contract, I see I have 10GB data already! The charge is creeping up by £1.00 or so per year but still less than £10.00

My O2 contract is going up by about £1.40 each year - it's now crept up to £10.30 (unlimited calls/texts, 4GB). Just phoned them threatening to leave - their best offer was £16/month for 3GB data. Interesting.

An advantage with O2 for me is the extras I get because I've got Virgin broadband - double data and international roaming. Neither of which are of much interest. So I've got my PAC code and I'll be looking to change.

I'm with Spusu because I don't use much data so what am I supposed to do with an extra 5Gb?

We're with Lebara on one of their monthly plans with heaps of data for not a lot of money. They piggy-back on Vodafone and include roaming (+ India which was seriously useful to us earlier this year). No issues and when the cheap cheap period runs out they usually allow you to start another monthly plan.
