It was $3.14 (almost certainly 10% ethanol; I never look) when I drove by the Circle K at lunch today.

Closing in on $ 1.50 per litre in sw Ontario.. = ~ $ 4.58 US dollar per US gallon John T.
How much at Costco?
Gas taxes in the US haven't risen since 1993 (Federal taxes). Taxes pay for the road and infrastructure repair.
When we lived in Germany gas cost $9.50 per gallon. It was the same price as in the US at the wellhead, the extra was taxes. These taxes were used to pay for maintenance, and you could drive from one end of Germany to the other and not see a pothole or cross an unsafe bridge. At 150 mph if you wanted (and traffic allowed.)
$141 a liter canadian up here - so times 3.78 to make a yankee gallon
- makes $5.32 Canadian per yankee gallon - and with today's exchange rate of $0.81 that is almost $4.32 US per US gallon - for regular E10.
$1.369 per liter in Waterloo Ontario
No idea. You'll have to drive down to State and Ellsworth yourself.
I drove right past there yesterday on the way to Zingerman's Bakehouse, but I didn't glance over at the gas station. I was keeping an eye out for geese, as they like to walk across the road in that area. While I scream "Wings! You have wings! Use your wings!"

The geese here don't walk across roads but there are the turkeys. Unlike pigs, turkeys can fly for short distances but they'd rather not.
We have the laziest geese. They often can't be bothered to migrate.
I see a turkey once in a blue moon. I'm sure there are tons that I never see, just off the road in some woods or bushes.

My town has potholes everywhere and we pay way too much ih taxes . I hate the roads here . Speaking about Germany … how amazing it would be to have universal health insurance so I don’t have to pay so much for mine
Or just look at the Costco webpage.
At east lansing costco, regular is 3.13 and premium 3.55.
Here in the middle of North Carloina most of the gas stations I pass are about $ 3.29 per gallon for the regular or lowest grade of gas. There is not a Costco near me.
They are pretty thick north of you.
The taxes would amaze you too.
Why? They wouldn't be more than we're currently paying for health care insurance.
It's just a common insurance pool to which everyone must contribute.
Many states have the nasty habit of spending road taxes as if in the general fund. Then they say the road fund is depleted and want to increase gas taxes.
Would be great. Who is going to pay for it? Check out tax rates in Europe.
Everyone?
Who is "they"? Can you provide some data to back up that statement? Thanks.
