You mean Medicare, where the overhead is 2% vs 25% for the commerical healthcare insurers?
You mean ACA that cut premiums (and/or reduced annual increases) by double-digit percentages for employer plans and enabled millions of others to get insurance for the first time?
A single-payer system, even with double the medicare overhead, will still beat anything else, be simpler for the citizen (no paperwork, no nonsense about "am I covered", no hidden bills, no inflated bills, less fraud).
