I got a novel call today, Becky, saying they 'worked closely' with Medicare and offering me ancestry testing, which they said when I asked was paid for by Medicare.

So I don't and no one in my family ever had cancer of the breast or pancreas.
So what is the scam? I pay in advance and don't get test results?
Or I pay, they charge more than the lab charges them, and I don't get reimbursed by Medicare?

This is, iiuc, a major effect of computer hacks where credit card info is not accessible. But they do get, perhaps, lists of people and their phone numbes. Sometimes they know my name (Well, I'm in the phone book, in the sky.)
