number of romex thru bx/cable connector?

Heya all,

Been looking all over for an answer to this. Went thru the copy of the 2002 NEC briefly but couldn't find it..

What I'm looking for... What does the NEC say about the number of romex thru a bx/cable connector going into the top of a breaker panel.

ie:

2 14/2's thru a 1/2" connector
3 14/2's thru a 3/4" connector
3 12/2's thru a 1" connector etc etc

Thanks, Brian

You need to look at the packaging that the connectors come in. The manufacturer puts a little chart on the box or bag listing the combinations that the connectors have been approved for.

you wont find it you are not supposed to put romex thru a bx conn . bx conn is designed to hold armored cable not non metallic cable.
