more GAS Car fires than electric cars
Same thing they do now with ICE vehicles, stop at a charging station. In the next couple of years there will be an additional 30,000 of them. My sister lives in a seniors place and they just installed two charging stations. Some motels have.
Gas stations were opened around the country five years before the automobile was invented just to be ready for it. Should have done that for EVs.
And does this proposed new law actually require what Frank claims, a charger to be in new home garages or just a suitable circuit for a 240V charger? My bet would be the latter. In which case it's an excellent idea, the cost of running a
240V circuit during construction isn't a lot. I would want one in any new home I was looking for, overall it's going to save a lot of people money.
Now this is the ultimate pipe dream. Give us the cost per block and mile to install this. When parked it sounds like one hell of a high cost to avoid plugging in a cable, especially since 99% of the parking spaces we'll have in the next couple of decades are already built.. Are people that lazy? For streets and highways, it's so stupid it's not worth commenting. Libs are just too funny.
Law changes go state by state, usually.
