IMHO, Stylometry is the latest In Shakespearean research

what else is there that's even somewhat new?

it's really only been around a few decades or so - since computers

as far as some [pseudo] authorship theories, it's fairly simple -- if you can't explain it to a layman, I would question whether you understand it Yourself

AIUI, Shakespeare worked as an electrician during his summer vacations. Later when he had writing blocks and needed a break he was a wildcatter on north Scotland oil wells, so he had plenty of mechanical experience.

But what the OP's post shows is how easy it is to post on Usenet. No one's going to post to the wrong webforum because it's so tediously hard to post to one no matter what.

Wasn't Shakespeare arrested for wearing mirors on top of his shoes, and holding candles under womens long dresses?
