Glucoes monitors

It seems the blood monitors are about like the computer printers. The price is not much for the electronics, but the strips are very high if using the ones that are the same brand.

What are some of the ones that seem to have aftermarket strips at the beat cost and work well ?

A few years ago a lot of stores were advertising free meters, if you buy the test strips.

Wal-Mart has a meter called Reli-On Prime, that uses strips that are $9 for 50. The strips are not individually wrapped and need to be used in 3 months, so it's not so good for someone who just uses it occasionally.
