I know, it was too late for haloween. Maybe next year.
I was so ugly, Mom had to tie bacon around my neck so the dog would play with me. I found it easier to tell cops I was on the way to a fright fest. The only girl who dated me, was named Munster.

Wonder why two cell flash lights with D-batteries last 8 hours, and 3 cell fashlights with D batteries last 79 hours?
Time for some product testing.

Should have put it on page I found or at Amazon.
Since I carry these lights in my hunting packs, weight and size are important considerations.

I looked on Duracell web site. Figuring they both have three watt bulb, then two cells would run 1.0 amps, figuring that 3 watts = 3 volts x 1 amp.
Three cells is 3 watts = 4.5 volts x 0.66 amps. Even so, it's still not a LOT of difference of hours of service.

Yes, they should have.
How many days are you "out"? How much light do you need?
Does a mini mag serve your needs? Teralux has a one watt conversion bulb that is expensive, but I really love it. I carry and use mine, every day.

It is absolutely impossible to draw 3 watts from 3 D-cells for 79 hours. There is no such magic D-cells.
There must be a trick. This flashlight must have two or three different power settings (I have a flashlight like that). The spec says max 79 hours but failed to mention "on low".

They are handy as a club to keep at the side of the bed. Apart from that pretty expensive in the UK.
