Goodman unit with heat exchanger issues 1997

Hi:Turned on heat Sunday for first time this year, heat made a noise and shutoff. Had a service tech out to look at yesterday, shows me large hole inheat exchanger and cracks in other part of heat exchanger. Unit isGoodman, 11 years old. Should I replace or repair? First estimate torepair was $1400, replace for $5300 with comparable Goodman. I can't help it if you didn't charge enough. I'm glad your up there and not down here... I'm having enough trouble trying to make ends meet without another side job hack running around installing systems for beer money.
