House built in 1945 with original gravity furnace. I'm concerned burner or mixing valve or ? needs attention because it does not seem to ignite properly consistently. Its a Bard Manufacturing Co., Bryan, Ohio, 22-M furnace with a BLU...FLAME Gas Conversion Burner, Vacuum Gas Burner Co., Olean, N.Y., installed, I assume, in the 1950's.
What maintenence is required for natural gas converted coal furnace?

The burners should be checked for clogged holes, venture should be checked, gas pressure to the burners should be checked, check for carbon monoxide, check for proper combustion air and flues.
