IS there a such thing as a "Mineral Amendment"?
Sort of like fertilizer, only minerals

Yes , there is . Call your county extension agent and get your soil tested - IT'S FREE in most states .
you thinking micro-nutrients? i've seen a lot of varied opinions on whether or not amending them is necessary.
i am a fan of neptune's harvest hydrolyzed fish and seaweed fertilizer. it contains micro-nutrients but that not the reason i use it. i use it because i like the results. plus, it stinks so beautifully, especially when using it to germinate seeds indoors. :)
I am thinking my soil is high in silicon, but that is it.
