I can vividly recall about 15 years ago being involved in stripping & resealing the floor in a B&Q. Guildford IIRC.
We were using a machine & ammonia based stripper in one half of the store. In the other half they were replacing some of the vinyl tiles.
Standard proceedure was one guy with a big F/O gas powered flame nozzle who softened the tiles followed by another guy with a big floor scraper.
After an hour the smoke & burning plastic/glue smell became worse than the ammonia/ old polish smell & we had to evacuate to the car park till they finished.
Found it! Just for the record;
Coverage: 750ml size produces a 50mm (2 inch) wide line approximately 60 meters (200ft) to 105 meters (350 ft) long dependent on thickness of application.
