I have quite a few, both straight and cross-point. You can buy them in sets at tool stores.

The nearest shed or ironmonger will have them. They live in little clear fronted blue plastic rectangular boxes. Prices vary on where you buy them.

On the subject, anyone know where to get sets of just cross head ones, I buy one or two sets a year, the tips of the cross heads always end up snapping off or being eroded away, so I have a growing collection of flat blades.

You can buy them in the market in Canterbury High Street. Or in Alca Tools in Herne Bay.

(the poster must be a University of Kent student, you see)

Perhaps you should have given directions from a convenient pub.

Of course, the poster could be University of Kent /staff/.

Do they have a psychology department? The original message seems a little strange and I wondered if it was posted to see the reaction rather than be a serious question.

Yes...

Doesn't seem particularly strange to me...!

Actually, several clues...I can also recognise the IP address. The University of Kent have an unusually large IP block - 129.12/16 ...

Unusually large? That's outrageous :-)

Haven't the RIPE police asked about it?

Prior possession, probably...we've had the block since we started on the Internet - circa 1982.
