Anyone recognise this fuse module?

Morning all,

While I was visiting my colleague she mentioned that her upstairs lights didn't work, so I had a quick look. She has what seemed to me like the old rewireable fuses. But when I pulled one out (and it fell apart), it turned out to be something different.

The fuse modules have a normal cycilndrical fuse inside them, and the poles are not in-line like on the rewireable modules I know:

-------------------- | | | ### ----- ### | | |

--------------------

But more like this, where a cylindrical fuse sits between the 2 poles:

-------------------- | # # | | # # | | # # |

--------------------

Has anyone seen this before and know if replacement fuse module or plug-in MCB is available? Sorry, I failed to take note of the brand of the CU (which would have made this a bit easier!)

Sounds like an HRC fuse.

Available from any electrical wholesaler.

The fuse yes, but the module it sits in is what is broken. The first wholesaler I went to had never seen a module like it before. Anyway, hope to know the brand later today.

Ah, I found it. It's a MEMERA 3 module. Not that easy to get but available online. Can't see any MCB replacements, so will probably have to go with the original (£10!) part.
