Recommendations for wood and woodworking supplies in Boston area?

I am starting to "graduate" from the Home Depot and Sears level of supply for my DIY and wordworking projects.

Any suggestions for good places to buy wood, woodworking tools, and associated hardware in the Boston area? (preferably in the near Western suburbs)

Thanks

Check the back of Fine Woodworking Magazine. There are several major places that advertise regularily that can't be more than a Mass Pike exit or two from you.

is a very good lumberyard in Ashland too if you are anywhere near there (Ashland Lumber). They will even deliver for free if you are close which is great if you need to buy 4 x 8 sheets and don't have a truck.
