I have a spray-on liner in my pickup. It's great but stuff doesn't slide very well on it (one of his requirements).

You would have to read the can I suppose.
Order a kit of Raptor Liner. 125 sq ft double layer coverage for about $180 Canadian up here in Canada - roll or spray application. Some of the best you can get ( 2 part - dries HARD and durable.)
The raptor Liner kit for 250 square foot (125 square ft double coat recommended) is 4 liters
GM and Totota have plastic boxes - and lots of plastic bed liners - but not vinyl
Vinyl is actually a lousy choice for wear resistance. Polyurethane is your best bet in a brushable or sprayable coating.
Yeah, but it looks good. ;-)
Cross-linked polyethelene is likely even better - (poly-wood made out of old pop bottles)
Trouble is that you can't apply it with a roller, brush, or spray gun.
