This is a documentary no the manufacturing of 45 fan blades for the N.A.C.A. (forerunner to NASA) wind tunnels, circa 1941.
A lot of "the skill is in the operator, not the machine". Fifteen minutes 'tack' time from the application of the first glue, till a six foot stack of wood all goes in the press. Repeat for ten more blade.
