Just a heads up for anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area - at the WWing show in San Mateo there's a guy selling an amazing assortment of veneer - curly and tiger koa, birdseye maple and redwood burl, crotch mahogany ... at $2 apiece for small to medium size (1-3 sf) and $3 apiece for larger sizes (4-8 sf). Most of this stuff is absolutely gorgeous!
