There's a time and place for cheap tools, usually when you're using them for something other than what was intended. Screwdrivers make great punches, but if you use my good ones for that I'll punch you!
I hate using "beater" screwdrivers to turn screws. The heads are wear parts and should be replaced when worn. Ever notice how 1" screwdriver bits come in 25 packs? Once they start showing signs of wear, replace them.
