Just for information, after mounting the 6" riser on my G0555, the blade tension would not tighten the blade. I changed the bottom spacer (moved it up) and finally was able to tension the blades. Today I called Grizzly and they told me that they know about the problem but have not written the fix into their manual. This is what they told me.
- Position the top spacer ¼" below the threads
- Position the bottom spacer ¼" below the top of the quick release bar
- Tension the blade until there is only a 1/8" deflection when you push in the middle with the top bearing/blade guard moved up as far as possible.
- This will be the setting for this blade.
